My name is Avery–I’m a 17 year old high schooler who identifies as non-binary [they/them or it/its pronouns!]. I am also Mexican-American, but, as you can probably see from my picture, I’m white passing. One last thing to know is that I have general anxiety, as well as a major depressive disorder, and avoidant personality disorder. I am currently on antidepressants.
When I graduate next year, I hope to enter into the publishing industry during my college years. I love reading, writing, and gaming, but normally spend my time procrastinating on all my schoolwork. Normally, I always have at least one book going, but recently it’s turning to three/four books at once.
Some of my favorite genres include: fantasy, horror, thriller, sci-fi, & YA!
Some of my favorite books include Unicorn Tracks by Julia Ember, The Abyss Surrounds Us by Emily Skrutskie, Thanks a Lot, John LeClair by Johanna Parkhurst, A Darker Shade of Magic by V.E. Schwab, Leviathan Wakes by James S.A. Corey, and Theft of Swords by Michael J. Sullivan.
A few of my favorite authors include Victoria/V.E. Schwab, Michael J. Sullivan, Robin Hobb, Julia Ember, John Flanagan, Dean Koontz, and James S.A. Corey!
My birthday is March 13 (*winks up at that wishlist link*). Feel free to contact me on any social media if you want to chat!
Thanks for reading this far, and thanks for checking out my review blog!!
